If you're looking to pick up a bunch of stuff though, I'd also give mild thumbs up to both nights of ASW6, ASW7 and BOLA although you can probably stay away from Night 1 of ASW7 and watch the awesome six man tag on PWG Sells Out 2, and probably stay away from BOLA Night 1 just because the main event is so god awful. Stay far away from DDT4. As far as B shows, I'm not good remembering names but the one right after ASW6 is th only one that stands out in my mind, the one with Ki/Generico, Hero/Tornado, Strong/Romero and Dynasty/Young Bucks. Actually, there's a pretty good one in there with a four way tag, Dynasty/Steenerico and a hardcore mixed tag main event that might be worth checking out.

Thanks for the help, mah man 8)

I just recently got the DVD for Zombies Shouldn't Run.

I'm going to watch it later this week. Any thoughts/feedback on this show?

Based on the lineup on the back of the DVD, it looks really good.

I haven't seen it, but I've heard some great things about Romero vs Davey. It's supposed to be Davey's breakout match in PWG.

Any chance "Seven" will be for sale at BOLA 2010?

Dragon/Quicksilver from that show is one of the best PWG matches of all time.

Seven or BOLA Night 1 & 2???

I know it's not fair to compare one show to BOLA but I need to know.

After a little muck-up last yaer, I'm finally going to start buying PWG.

I'm vaguely up to date with results, so is Cyanide or The Curse a good place to start? Which DVD is better?

Cyanide is a better overall show with an awesome Steen vs Tozowa match but the The Curse has a must see El Generico vs. Ricochet match but if I had to choose I'd pick Cyanide

I'd go with Curse. You get to see the start of a new title reign, Ricochet vs Generico and Cutlers having one of their better matches.

Cyanide is worth seeing for Steen vs Towaza, but if you're just looking for a good place to start, go with Cursed.

Can anyone help me out...
I was thinking of buying the following:

JASON TAKES PWG
GUITARMAGEDDON
2nd ANNUAL BICENTENNIAL BIRTHDAY - NIGHT 1

I breezed through a few pages on here and found 2 comments about "Jason Takes PWG" being awful....
Didnt find much on the other two...

Any thoughts?

I actually just watched these in the past month or so.

Jason Takes PWG has Excalibur's best singles match, not to mention it's a major part of the Dragon/Steen story. However, everything else is just average or boring. The main event between Styles and Daniels is incredibly disappointing.

Guitarmageddon is so far my pick for show of the year (I have the last 5 shows of 2005 still to watch though). Most of the stuff is just good, but the main event of Dragon/Disco vs Excalibur/Steen is an easy MOTYC. There really isn't a bad match on the show.

2nd Anniversary Night 1 is another really good show. The 6 man tag with the New SBS vs Dragon and 2 Skinny Black Guys is yet another MOTYC. The big thing is Arrogance vs AXP, which is my pick for best tag match in PWG history. It's not quite as good as Guitarmageddon though.

How is the Wrestlereunion show from earlier this year? Is it worth forking out the 25 bucks for?

I only have enough money to buy 1 DVD so what do you guys reccomend from 2010? ( Maybe this years DDT4)

I already have Seven by the way.

The best show of 2010 for me was Seven. Since you already have that, I say go with As the Worm Turns. Pretty great show from top to bottom.

As The Worms Turns is a perfectly fine pick for second best show of PWG, and I might actually agree, but I think there's a good argument for DDT4 as well. The Young Bucks bring the epic in all 3 of their matches. Though it seems its not for everyone, Hero and Bonham have a stiff slug fest. And really, the rest of the matches are above average. I'd say Briscoes v. YAMAYO/Tozawa is probably my favorite of the non-Young Buck tag matches. The main event isn't the greatest match in a traditional star rating sense but its a huge moment in PWG history and feels like a satisfying pay-off to the storyline that it wraps up.

Why does everyone forget about Human Tornado and Generico? I thought that was a great match.

While I dug Generico's overselling, I didn't think the match was anything special. Tornado's random valet that night seemed out of place too considering she was acting heelish despite Tornado being a face. The biggest thing that came from it was Generico and Tornado hooking up for their tag team after the show.
