Crusin' for a Brusin' (vs. Cape Fear)
Hollywood Globetrotters (vs. Roderick Strong and Jack Evans, MOTYC)
Card Subject to Change 2 (vs. Los Luchas and vs. Kings of Wrestling)

Theirs other good ones but these are the only ones I've seen. From what I've heard though they also had good matches on:

Beyond the Thunderdome (vs. AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels)
Enchantment Under the Sea (vs. Arrogance)

I havn't seen these though so don't take my word for it.

I've heard good things about PWG for years now and I wanted to know is Pwg sold out the set something I should start with or should I get show instead?

which show would be best? thanks

Also, reading some comments about shipping made me think it takes a long time to ship so, should buy from Roh's site if I want them quicker or not?

1. PWG Sells Out is a great place to start. Thats how I first got into PWG. Its 9 hours of pure awesome. I still pop it in every now and then to watch matches from shows I don't have.

2. BOLA '07 Night 3 is considered one of the best shows in PWG history so you could check that out. Also, I don't have Express Written Constent, but others on this site claim its awesome, so if you want a recent show you could check that out.

3. I don't think it makes a diference who you order from. You should just order from here so you're money goes directly to PWG.

I already have PWG sells out and Express Written Consent, what shows should I get that will give me a good look at PWGs current roster.

Well from this year I would recommend One Hundred, The Secret of Guerrilla Island, DDT 4, and Threemendous II.

Of those four I'd go with 70|30, Guitarmageddon II, and Beyond The Thunderdome.

Out of these I'd pick Scared Straight, High Cost of Doing Business, Dia De Los Dangerous, and Schadenfreude. Those four are very solid, not super, but still very good and the best of the bunch.

I'd put DDT4 08 N2 or Pearl Habra before Scared Straight. For some season, Scared Straight fell really flat for me on DVD. Evans vs Tornado is great though.

I'm pretty new to PWG but have loved their 2009 shows and was wondering which of the upcoming dvd releases is the best. The four releases that I am speaking of are Against the Grain, Guerre Sans Frontieres, Speed of Sound, and Threemendous 2. I am leaning towards Guerre Sans Frontieres because I really want to see Hero/Dragon but I was curious as to which matches from each show are good and which show of these four is the best

I'd recommend "Guerre Sans Frontieres" as a must own PWG show. I thought it was one of the best PWG shows so far this year (which is really saying something this year).

Definitely! It's the one that started it all. Everyone brought their A-game and worked really hard. Night One has some awesome matches unlike Night One of the 2008 BOLA. An overlooked little dandy is El Generico vs Chris Bosh and Super Dragon vs Kevin Steen was excellent. I don't even need to hype the second night, I'll let the action do the talking. This set should not be skipped.

Anyone bothered to see which DVDs have a colored gorilla on the side? Like some of the early shows have a green one, but most of the 2006 shows have a white one.

I love that $40 deal! I'll probably get all the shws from Express Written Consent to Threemendous II (except Secret of Guerrilla Island). I've been meaning to get PWG shows this year, but I always ended up spending my money on other stuff.

That sale is goddamn ridiculous. Can't believe they added any '09 shows to the deal, let alone 7 of 'em.

Yikes, yeah everyone who hasn't done so, really needs to buy Express Written Consent, 99, 100, DDT4 2009 and Threemendous II from that deal right now.

shettler wrote:What are the top 3 2008 shows?

I'd probably say Life During Wartime, BOLA Night 2, and 1.21 Gigawatts. Any of the All Star Weekend nights are real good too.

Just picked these up. I'll probably end up taking advantage of this a couple more times.

If I'm right, they started with the white gorilla in late(ish) 2004.
