Just curious, what do you guys think of a Mystery Vortex weekend?

Well, it wouldn't give us much to talk about for the next month, but, as with the other Mystery Vortices, it does present seemingly endless possibilities. Especially if you've got two of them, where you can build matches for the second night off the first night. Still would rather have a DDT4, but I get the feeling that's done. Maybe ASW XIII? In any case, if 12/16 is the day, as the rumors say, we'll have to get a card (cards?) soon.

I know, hence I said "in PWG" as well, nothing against AAW fans or the company itself but it be nice to have the match again for the PWG crowd as well

If just for 1 night that be fine but if you mean weekend as in 2 nights? Doesn't 2nd night kinda defeat the purpose of having a Mystery Vortex?

Oh, sorry about that but yeah, I haven't seen it yet though I have been meaning to get into AAW more and more lately

It's safe to say that the PWG title means a lot to a guy's career at this point, maybe more than the ROH title.

Word is the Young Bucks signed a two year deal with ROH and have also come to terms with NJPW. Thankfully, doesn't look they're going anywhere for a while.

Thoughts and prayers with PWG alum Bobby Fish, as he lost his mother last night.

He'd been missing cards with an unexplained "family emergency". Guess we know what it was, now. Poor guy.

Seemed like the right place to post this-word is Chris Hero has nothing booked for 2017 yet, and he's been dropping a lot of falls lately. Speculation is he might be off to the WWE again. :(

Wrestling Observer backed this up. PWG better figure out who the next "one who gets title shots whenever we have no clear #1 contender" guy is.

Yeah, Hero was one guy I didn't really think would end up back in the WWE but he never burned bridges with them despite contrasting rumors and he himself said he would return, sucks he'll be gone but glad he's getting another chance.

Also in other news, NJPW has plans to re-open their dojo in LA and even possibly running a G-1 Climax in LA as well, what does this mean for PWG? Probably not much but I would like to believe one day this can lead to some nice cross promotion next year between NJPW and PWG.

About the most I see happening from that would be Hiromu Takahashi and Roppongi Vice being on a card or two, and only because they've already been in PWG.

I'm assuming either Scurll gets the win and we get a 3-way between Scurll, Sabre Jr. and Ospreay because Ospreay got a win over Sabre Jr.

or Sabre Jr. retains and we get Sabre Jr. and Ospreay in a singles.

Or hell, maybe it'll be a 3-way Friday night.

Probably, I would also say Liger could make more appearances, maybe Kenny Omega I would hope, but if the rumor is true that NJPW plans to run shows in Long Beach, in particular G-1 Climax, who knows. Also technically Roppongi Vice have never wrestled in PWG together, hopefully that changes next year as well.
