Colt Cabana! I knew deep down in my gut that he would be in it...

So I guess that means that the last four spots are Shelley, Generico, Omega and Hero

I wholly support Colt Cabana's BOLA return -- hard to believe it's only his second. He was a great lynchpin of the extremely entertaining eight-man in '06, and I imagine he'll provide much the same here.

Probably, I hope PAC is in and not Shelley. But chances are that wont happen.

Am I the only one that's not seeing Cabana on the mini site?

I've always enjoyed Cabana, so nice to see him return. Would love to see him face Generico on night 1; hard to believe it's never been done before.

Oh, and we totally need to see Matt Classic at least once during the weekend. PWG needs a new submission specialist, after all.

The Human Tornado:

Probably my favorite PWG wrestler to use in videos.

Yet again, great work. Tornado was one of the reasons I got into PWG years ago; would love to see him go far in the tourney.

Also, it's a bit shitty that BOLA talk has deflated a bit lately. These are gonna be 2 of the best cards of the year, people.

I think it's largely a function of the fact that most of the entrants have been predictable thus far. There's nothing wrong with that -- it's a good thing that PWG has found a consistent core of guys to build around. But it does tend to dampen speculation. There's simply no way that Hero and Generico will (or should) be left out of the tourney, Omega's the hottest thing the company has going, and I don't know why you'd book Sabin and not Shelley, who's the more interesting singles worker. If those *aren't* the final four, fair enough, but if they are, it might make sense to just trot the names out quickly and start getting people excited about specific matchups.

Tourney looks very solid, though. Night One should be fun, and Night Two should be spectacular.

This BOLA different from years past because the belt is on the line. With less suprise names I find it makes it more interesting and unpredictable who can win. Everyone announced so far is a regularly booked wrestler. I like the way this is going. Personally, doesnt make sense to me to have someone come in who wrestles for PWG 1-3 times a year to wrestle in BOLA and compete for a championship they've had no interest in capturing before.

You both make a lot of sense. Expected names make for less buzz, but as the winner takes the title, kayfabe-wise why'd PWG want to bring in randoms? I didn't even connect the dots on that one 'til now.

They may be the best cards, but there's really not much to say when the build-up is just a picture and a paragraph every few days.

To me, the Bucks are the only ones who I can 100% for sure say will not win. Just can't see it. But anyone else, given well booked matches, could be the next champion.

Despite the Chikara show on the same day, I am hoping, somehow, someway, Ultra Mantis Black will be flown out.

Aries is a little bit of a surprise, and I wonder which of the "locked four" got bumped. I'm guessing we are not getting Alex Shelley.

That was my thought too, no Shelley. Hero and Generico are locks so its going to be missing either Omega or Shelley. I don't care which one it is but its nice to have the ROH champ on the card for this years BOLA.

Niiiiiice. If this means no Shelley, so be it... Aries is too good and too over to keep out, and while I wouldn't expect him to win, it's more plausible than either MCMG taking it. Great, great addition.
