Greatest PWG Tag Team champions EVER Tournament

Postby bill1985 » Mon May 01, 2006 1:55 pm

OK, we've had this discussion many times and I think the only way to settle it is with a tournament. Since we've had only eight teams ever hold the PWG Tag Team titles, it'll be an eight team tournament with you the PWG fans voting, to determine the greatest Tag Team champions ever. Now, The X-Foundation, Joey Ryan & Scott Lost, are the number 1 seeds because they are the only team to have won the tag titles twice. Everybody else will have there spot determined by the length of there reigns. So here are the matchups.

(1) The X Foundation (Joey Ryan & Scott Lost)

vs.

(8) Scorpio Sky & Quicksilver

(4) Super Dragon & Excalibur

vs.

(5) Human Tornado & El Generico

(3) Super Dragon & Davey Richards

vs.

(6) B-Boy & Homicide

(2) Scott Lost & Chris Bosh

vs.

(7) Quicksilver & Chris Bosh

Vote for the team in each match you think would win, the voting ends at 6:00 PM eastern time, this Thursday. Have fun.

Match 1- Aerial Express

Match 2- 2 Skinny Black Guys

Match 3- Super Dragon/Davey Richards

Match 4- Scott Lost/Chris Bosh

You know...I actually would love to see a B-Boy/Homicide vs Dragon/Richards tag matchup in PWG.

Is there really a need for this? It's either going to come down to Arrogance and Dragon/Richards with the discussions. Plus picking the AXP when they didn't even hold the belts for 24 hours is hilarious. Not saying they were a bad team though.

Me too -- that shit would be heated and hard-hitting.

And yeah, Arrogance and SD/Richards really lap the field. Of those two, I'd say SD/Richards are more dominant, as they've convincingly beaten all their opponents and successfully main-evented a bunch of shows, but I could see arguments either way...
