A few match-ups I'd like to see:

El Generico vs. Brandon Bonham
Austin Aries vs. Joey Ryan (FINALLY!)
Roderick Strong vs. Chuck Taylor
Chris Daniels vs. Brandon Gatson
Chris Hero vs. Ricochet

And I'd rather have nine singles matches than random three-ways thrown into the mix. Have a couple of non-tourney matches inbetween and it should be ok.

He walked past me once when I was in line to get into a ROH show. So did Dazzee Haze. He's SHORT as hell.

Kinda sucks that Johnny Goodtime is not in BOLA.... I'd much rather see him in than Cage or Ryan Taylor. Not really digging this years line up at all.

It'd be cool if they did this like DGUSA did the Freedom Gate tourney, where they run some tag matches, 3 ways and regular matches on the first night to get winners for the second night.

Card looks good to me. Don't really get all the complaints. There are some new guys (ricochet, Tozawa) that haven't been in before, some oldies who we haven't seen in a while (A Double, Daniels) and the good regulars (Joey, Hero). I like the lineup.

Dammit, I got it!

PWG is brilliant!

Tag Title Defense!

Generico/London defend the tag belts in the opening round against either the Young Bucks or the Kings of Wrestling. Whatever team wins will go on to the round of 16 to face each other

Damn, I love PWG.

Unfortunately, the timing just would not work out with Bryan Danielson in regard to the 2010 Battle of Los Angeles. Like you guys, we are big fans of his, and would love to have him take part in the event. However, it was just not meant to be. We are glad that Bryan Danielson got to make one more appearance with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla at Seven, and in the unlikely event that he be available again in the future, we will make every effort to make him a part of our shows.

With that said, let's turn the conversation back to the 2010 Battle of Los Angeles itself, and the participants that are actually, you know, participating in the event.

COMMUNIST!

Moving on. Why not have a guest ring announcer, just for the main event of night 2.

You know where I'm going with this...

...yup...

...Yakov Smirnoff! C'mon, in Russia, he would announce you!

So does winner of BOLA get a title shot this year?
I want Von Eerie in a night 2 non-tourny match.

I am kinda hoping for a tag-title match to be included with BOLA, especially when we got Danger Bees, Young Bucks and Kings of Wrestling all in the tournament. But however, in theory, each night will have at least 8 BOLA matches and without making the matches rushed, that will easily spread out among 3 hours so I am not setting my hopes up high.

They could do a three way tag match with them, and the winning team advances.

Now that would be freakin' awesome. Sounds like Guerrilla porn to me but then again, I am a 28 year old loser who spends his days on PS3 and facebook.

That would leave BOLA with 14 participants. How would that work?

Yeah, sounds a bit complicated.

I'm fairly sure there will be pre-tournament shenanigans involving the Bucks and we'll end up with a 16-man lineup. Yeah, that's it.

I say round 1 will be 9 singles matches then the finals will be a 9-man elimination style falls count anywhere match. <_<

They could have a bye, or you could have another match with a 4 way singles, to eliminate the extra two.

Well, we are getting all single matches to begin with so you might be unto something LOL.

As for the first match announced, HOLY CRAZY MONKEYS FLYING IN SPACE!!!! Chris Hero versus Christopher Daniels in the first round? Great match, though I would have loved to see it later on. I mean, I wanted both to go far and now, one of them won't last past the first round. That totally sucks!
