Getting back to subject, I heard the Yes chant for the first time at a show this weekend in Chicago. It sounds virginal, retarded and gay. Yeah I'm one of those politically incorrect guys who use dangerous words, so sue me.

The wrestling yaay chant was originated by a small group of Chicago fans who called themselves The Tools. It was meant to be a joke, like playing the role of an obnoxious fan who puts themselves over, in other works, the person doing it is not taking themselves serious and not trying to be cool. It's way to make fun of the smart mark. Chanting Yes or No is just another herd mentality, insider, need to get outside more kind of fad that hopefully will die a quick and painful death.

Political correctness is hardly the first concern or thought on professional wrestling message boards. But thank you for your concern.

Let's put this issue to rest once and for all. At the last PWG show Excalibur made it very clear that Yes chant sucks.
