We bought three sets of three night passes a while back. We received one set on Thursday but haven't gotten the other two sets. If we don't get them should we just bring the receipt like suggested for people out of the US?

Will there be any more news on non-tournament matches leading up to September 1?

I think there will be (Night 1 and 2 will probably have 1 or 2 more matches added) Also they still have the "very special guests!" to mention. I'd expect one more big announcement to bring up the level of hype even more.

Good chance of it being more Dragon Gate wrestlers I'd say. Hopefully BXB Hulk! That'd be awesome. Just check out his entrance: http://youtube.com/watch?v=R204Dz0W5h0 BxB Hulk Vs Human Tornado BOOK IT!

Really have to give PWG credit. They are doing a great job at keeping the hype going, and making these shows seem special.

Yeah, even without an August show the hype surrounding the BoLA is insane. Most indy wrestling fans I know hold PWG as the second best in the United States [behind ROH, of course], and some even hold it above ROH. If BoLA is as good as it was last year [which I have no doubts it will], then PWG is gonna be so high going into 2007. I can't wait.

As much as I hate the WWE right now I'll admit that there's no wrestling show on earth like Wrestlemania. I went to WM16 in Anaheim and the whole experience was incredible.

Yeah, likewise... WM20 at MSG was an amazing experience. The whole place went crazy when Benoit made HHH tap for the belt.

Funny cus I was at WM21 and there was nothing special about it. PWG shows smoke Wrestlemania.

I'm on board with this. ASW overshadowed 21 for me. I was so bored at 21 & extremely dissapointed with Eddie/Rey, the ladder match, Orton/Taker, and even HBK/Angle. I hit the bar after the second match. The show was pathetic. 16 was decent, but not one damn singles match. The ladder match was overrated, the triple threat was good, but in retrospect it doesn't quite seem that way. The main event was decent enough as far as hype, story, build, etc... But not great. And 20 was one of the worst WM's ever, save for the main event. Fuck WrestleMania. If they actually produce a good one in the future I'll shit my pants.

The WWE hasn't given anyone their money's worth in years. Thank G*d for Guerrilla or I would've given up on wrestling all together.

I very much agree with the sentiments that WannaB stated. I haven't been excitied for a Wrestlemania since WM 17. And that one was decent at best, the TLC match is the only thing I remember from it. That was the last WM I watched live as it happened. I think the last decent one was WM 19. Then everything else has been hit and miss. WM no longer has the exciting aura anymore as their product is atrocious. There may be one match I want to see from WM but it is not a priority.

I can honestly say that I am more excitied about BOLA 2006, or every other PWG show for that matter, than anything the E has done in the last five years.

Considering it's only a week away (holy shit!) I was expecting more non-tourney news by now. Surely the first two nights aren't going to be 7 and 6 match cards, so will the rest come as surprises, or will PWG go announcement crazy in the final week to truly drive everyone into insane hyped mode? I'm hoping for the latter.

I went to visit the location and its not too bad. There seems to be a bit of parking on site and street too. The actual building is kinda small, I know do wonder how its going to fit 400. I am very excited about the event.

Question, I remember reading on SCU a while back, that you aren't allowed to bring in your own water or food to the venue. Can anyone who's been there before, confirm or deny this?

Hope it's not like like WAR at the Elks Lodge, where a Soda Nazi ran around yelling at people for bringing stuff in. "I lose my license!"

I was just wondering if PWG is still taking ticket orders online, since I thought Friday was the last day to purchase them online. But I still see the option available to buy tickets on the entrance page.

The ticket page says this: Remaining tickets will be sold at the door on a first-come first-serve basis.

Just heard that Claudio injured himself at ROH. Not sure if it's serious enough to miss BOLA.
