PWG at Comic Con?

Postby P_W_F'N_G! » Mon Jul 17, 2006 7:52 pm

I was just wondering if anyone knew if any of the PWG regs were attending the Comic Con in San Diego, or if PWG was actually going to have a booth up? Thanks for the help.

PWG won't have a booth. They really don't have any reason to.

Joey Ryan went last year, but I'm unsure if he's going this year. I'll be attending on Friday. It's my one day out of the year that I splurge & by comics & graphic novels.

FYI... The Walking Dead. Fucking Amazing! Pick up the first 5 volumes that are available. Great stuff.

NWA Pro is gonna have a show in downtown San Diego on Friday so there's a chance some PWG guys are gonna hang out at Con. Scheduled for the wrestling show include Joey Ryan, Human Tornado, TJ Perkins (as Puma) and Scott Lost.

Interestingly enough, I read that some TNA guys will be in and out of the Spike TV booth all four days so maybe some PWG mainstays like Chris Sabin or Frankie Kazarian will be there.

Blade The Series...

...no wonder. Here's the info from the convention program.

Spike TV, 3929
TV channel
TNA autograph signing; Blade: The Series cast autograph signing; Blade/TNA trading cards, Blade DVDs, Spike hats and T-shirts, Blade glyph tattoos, Blade nylon bags.

Why do I get the feeling that they'll be charging for autographs?

What day are the TNA guys gonna be there? I don't collect autographs, but I wouldn't mind having my picture taken with a few of them.

The Spike TV booth is there all week, but there's no info on who will be there and for what days & times.

Well I didn't see any PWG guys. I did take pictures with Ron Killings and Christy Hemme, though.

Virgil was there as well. It seemed as though he may be a technical consultant to THQ for SmackDown vs. Raw. That was unexpected.

Saw a few other PWG peeps. I was wearing my green logo t-shirt so they were readily identifying themselves as fans.

Hahaha... Killings got pissed at me when I asked why they sent him and not someone who's good. lol I couldn't resist.

Haha. I'll admit he was last on my list of non-indy TNA stars I wanted to meet.

And LOL @ Virgil working for THQ. I briefly visited that booth hoping anyone from WWE would be there. I didn't see him but SVR looked fucking incredible.
