KOW wil NOT win the PWG Titles

Postby caesaresp » Thu Nov 02, 2006 2:12 pm

After what was said to have been a great evaluation tryout in Deep South Wrestling a few weeks back, PWInsider.com has confirmed that ROH Tag Team champion Claudio Castagnoli has received a WWE developmental offer.

For more information on Castagnoli, a Swiss native who currently holds several Tag Team championships with partner Chris Hero, you can check out his official MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/claudiocastagnoli.

Since Claudio is now WWE Bound, The Odds on Winning the WWE Titles are beyond slim since he will not be able to defend the title.

Great Job Claudio you will be a Great WWE Star

He received an offer, he didn't sign anything. He's not WWE bound yet. Learn how to read.

This is a great opportunity for CC, but I can't imagine that the WWE won't drop the ball with him like they drop the ball with almost everyone they bring up from developmental these days. I mean, assuming he accepts the offer -- which you almost have to assume he will.

Update:

CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI-WWE UPDATE
by Mike Johnson @ 7:25:00 PM on 11/8/2006

Ring of Honor Tag Team champion Claudio Castagnoli has signed his WWE developmental deal and is expected to report next month to his assigned developmental territory (presumably Deep South Wrestling as a number of names recently signed have been sent there, although that's not confirmed.) Castagnoli currently holds several additional Tag Team championships with partner Chris Hero, including CHIKARA and Combat Zone Wrestling.

So long Claudio. Great wrestler and a very cool guy. He totally deserves this opportunity. Just hope he doesn't become Ludvig Borga 2k7 ;)

Ah, sad to see Claudio go. But good luck to him! I just wish the Kings Of Wrestling could've added the PWG World Tag Titles to their list of accomplishments.
