Yes, it seems like a card would be in order soon. But with the holiday weekend, and perhaps figuring up some card alterations (like JAPW being canceled and Kazarian now being available) it's understandable while it would be a little later than usual.

Can't wait to see what they have planned for us this time. I hope Shelley and Sabin will be teaming again, Steen has a good return match and the Briscoes finally show up again.

But while we wait, PWG did put up this neat banner:

Here's how I'd book it... just for kicks:

The Human Tornado vs. Joey Ryan
Super Dragon and B-Boy vs. Cape Fear
Arrogance vs. TJ Perkins and Rocky Romero
Chris Hero vs. Claudio Castagnoli
Ronin vs. Kevin Steen
Scorpio Sky vs. Chris Sabin

I'm bored, so I'll fantasy book a card too:

Joey Ryan Vs. Human Tornado

Cape Fear Vs B-Boy/Super Dragon (Cape Fear were both screwed out of the World title, so give them a tag title shot)

Kings Of Wrestling Vs Alex Shelley/Chris Sabin (this match would kick so much ass)

Arrogance Vs. The Briscoe Brothers

Frankie Kazarian Vs. Scorpio Sky - some kind of stipulation match

Kevin Steen Vs. Davey Richards - no reason, it'd just be a good match

Ronin Vs. Rocky Romero - The RBTT2007BOLAT continues

I think they should keep Cape Fear away from a title match for at least a month, because those guys don't exactly have the best track record. Build them up, make an important story out of Dragon having beaten them so many times, and then give them a shot.

With that said, I'd love to see, for example, B-Boy/Dragon vs. Sabin/Shelley. It makes sense, and the challengers could win by DQ due to a Richards interference (since, after all, the Davey/Dragon feud is still building). If Richards is going to stay in the Tag division, do him/Strong (if he can be booked) vs. the KOW, and Cape Fear vs. Black/Jacobs (I'd love to see them back). I know, that's a lot of tag matches ... But it wouldn't be a big deal if they could be spread apart correctly. That's something CHIKARA does very well.

As for a Kevin Steen return match, him vs. Ronin sounds pretty cool. As to not hurt either man's hype, the match should end in a No Contest, or something similar.

By the way they've been "building" it up, it's sure to be one of those small-but-fun, throwaway shows with 5-6 matches of little importance.

I'm sorry, but if a year's worth of hype and heat climaxes with Human Tornado winning the belt, I'm going to be terribly disappointed. And this is coming from a guy who's been a Tornado fan since 2004.

I agree, it all turned to crap since Threemendous, we all know why Joey should have lost it their, but nope, and now we are stuck, and nothing will live up to the climax that Threemendous SHOULD have had.

You obviously don't know shit about booking wrestling angles, building up a champion, and elevating a wrestler to a new level.

Except that B-Boy would have made the worst Champion ever.

I think PWG should go with a returning Kevin Steen in a slow build to the title and becoming the new Champ.

Why don;t you we just wait and see what happens in the match. Besides, I don't get what's so bad about a Human Tornado title run. He's an up an coming talent who deserves a shot to shine. Just give him a chance if he wins.

I figured out who should win the belt.

It's Chris Bosh. He's the best choice out of everyone to have a meaningful storyline with Joey, and it wouldn't just be about winning the belt, since there's the Dynasty and all. Joey vs. Bosh could be bigger than any feud Joey's had up to this point.
