Sami Callihan in PWG

Postby Alex08 » Sun Feb 15, 2009 1:20 pm

I think he is a very talented athlete with plenty of potential, perfect for PWG. With the loss of stars such as: Tj Perkins,Brandom Bohnam, and more, I think "The New Horror"(Sami) could be a solid addition to the PWG roster. He has already made impacts in IWA-MS,CHIKARA,and CZW. Here is a little something highlighting Sami`s 2008 in wrestling

Special thanks to turmoilwrestling for making the video

I'm on the fence with Sami. He looks good but at the same time when I see some of his matches I just go meh.

He`s making his ROH debut on Feb 27. against Austin Aries so why not give him a shot?

Seconded.

Seriously people? Some dude who has been wrestling in IWA for less than a year, and is like, 19 years old suddenly deserving of PWG spending hundreds of dollars on them to get flown in? Get real.

Exactly, within a year of IWA-MS this guy has risen to main events in several promotions(CHIKARA,CZW,and IWA-MS), winning awards such as: CZW ironman Championship,Chri$ Ca$h Memorial battle royal winner. This guy deserves a shot.

Yeah, sorry, but looking at it now I wouldn't want Sami flown in for PWG. But I would want to see SoCal talent (LTP, Brandon Gatson, and others) over Sami.

Sami Callihan is a one-trick pony. Keep him away from PWG.

If you want hard-hitting, ask PWG to bring Kingston back. Way more awesome and way less exposed.

You guys are crazy. Sami is nuts. He has a much different style than other "stroing style" guys. His matches and selling at the TPI was gand, especially his match with Hero. He's no "one trick pony". He has a some aura bout him and he makes his matches seem real and that his goal is to f*** you up. Bring him in!

Good wrestler or not (I'm leaning toward the latter, he's extremely green), bringing in some dude who no one knows and will not sell an extra DVD is not a smart idea.

To be honest, I rather see PWG bring in Arik Cannon. His matches with guys like Hero and Kingston were insane.

Sami can get pretty boring. I don't see what the big fuss is.

The 3 year bump! I'm a huge Callihan fan and it's great to see him mixing it up in PWG the last several months.
