The JPC is an annual sixteen man tournament to honor the late Jeff Peterson. Jeff was an independent cruiserweight wrestler considered now to be ahead of his time. Peterson wrestled mainly for IPW Hardcore and ECWA (he is the nephew of ECWA promoter Jim Kettner) but wrestled throughout the country.

Then, at the age of 18 in early 2000, Jeff was diagnosed with Non- Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He went into remission and was poised for a comeback, but he would then relapse. Then, in November 2002, Jeff lost his battle with cancer at the age of 21.

From this tragedy, The Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup was started in 2003 and continues to get bigger and better each year. The two day tournament not only showcases the best cruiserweights from around the world, but each year we are able to help our community as well by donating the profits to a local philanthropic cause.

On that note, it is time for the next four participants (9-12) for JPC 2006:

9. Undefeated in PWW, Delirious.

10. 2003 JPC Winner Tom "Reckless Youth" Carter.

11. From Full Impact Pro, Canadian Cougar.

12. 2006 Super 8 Champion, Davey Richards.

They join the eight men previously announced:

AWA World Light Heavyweight Champion Krazy K; Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's Joey Ryan; CHIKARA's own Mike Quackenbush; from IWA-MS, Arik Cannon; From Inernational Wrestling Syndicate in Montreal, El Generico; representing PWG, Human Tornado; Pro Wrestling Warfare's own Jay Fury; International Sensation: Milano Collection A.T.

And as always, there will be other big surprises and bonus matches.

Make your plans now to be there June 16th and 17th.
Stay tuned for frequent updates on what is sure to be one of the biggest wrestling weekends of the year. Check out http://www.pwwf.com for information on possible hotel and VIP tickets.

Four PWG guys and El Generico, Joey Ryan, Tornado, and Davey.

I wonder if Joey gets the same heel heat as he does in So Cal.
