I'm thinking Claudio vs Low Ki for title on Night 2.

How sad is it that I have the ASW mini-site bookmarked on the home screen of my cell phone so I can keep checking for new matches? I probably check 10 times throughout the night starting at 7pm.

Haha! It's pretty much the same for me. It's like PWG is my dealer and right now All Star Weekend is my Crack. I honestly don't know if I'll be relieved or bummed once all the matches are announced. But I do love the anticipation of what will be revealed next. Still hoping that Pac (whom I'm never seen live), Colt Cabana or the Briscoes will be added to the mix...and of course Super Dragon. ;)

Man ASW looks absolutely orgasmic, especially that Low Ki vs Shelley match. Its gonna be incredible. Young Bucks vs Aries and Strong is gonna be amazing too.

So I was thinkin'...

Night One of All-Star Weekend could use a bit of a shake up. There, I said it. Now don't get me wrong, the show looks friggin' incredible! And I am more fired up for PWG than I've ever been! But I think with just a little tinkering, the first show of the weekend could go from a 10 to an 11!

So anyhow, I'll try to not be too long-winded with this (which means it'll totally be long-winded). On Night One we've got Chuck Taylor facing Kenny King in a singles match. Ok, it looks like a solid match. And I like both guys a lot (hell, Chucky T is one of my favorite wrestlers today). But on a show that already features 5 other singles matches (including major league level stuff like Tozawa/Edwards, Generico/Ricochet, Low Ki/Shelley and Claudio/Hero), I think Taylor vs King could easily get lost in the shuffle and feel almost meaningless. I hate saying that, but I could see it happening. Meanwhile we've got Ryan Taylor and Brian Cage taking on the newly reformed Dynasty. Now obviously this is interesting because we're seeing the beginning of a new era for the Dynasty. But let's face it, the Taylors haven't exactly been lighting the world on fire lately. And as cool as it is having Joey and Scorp back together, this feels like almost a tune up victory for them instead of something worth getting emotionally invested in.

The bottom line is, the Fightin' Taylor Boys just ain't the FIGHTIN' Taylor Boys without Chuck being in the middle of it. He is one of the best Trios wrestlers in the U.S. And with him IN the mix they are a team to be reckoned with. What I'm obviously getting at here is that The Dyansty vs The Taylors should be a 6-man tag match...Chuck Taylor/Ryan Taylor/Brian Cage-Taylor vs The Dynasty (Joey Ryan/Scorpio Sky and the newest member of the Dynasty....Kenny King!)

If anybody is tailor made to be the third piece of the new Dynasty, it's King! His talent and attitude make him a perfect fit to the team. And this would give him a strong foothold here on the West Coast if he becomes a regular. As for the match, I think the changes would take it from a solid showcase to a potential show stealer and potentially begin a kick ass fued! Beyond all that you would also have a spot opened up to add possibly another tag team match to the show (Perhaps have the Briscoes come in or maybe put Aries and Strong up against the RockNess Monsters the night before they get a shot at the titles). It seems like a win-win to me. Thoughts?

While I AM still lobbying for all three Taylors vs Ryan/Scorpio/King to happen, I've gotta say that Night One has now just been put over the top as one of the best looking cards I have EVER seen! Thank you, PWG!!! The two new tag matches really balance out the card nicely. And Night Two is a beast as well. I wonder if there could possibly be any more surprises up the sleeve. I'm just glad it's gonna be a 4 day weekend, because I'll need AT LEAST two days to recoup from these shows!

I wonder why they didn't mention Ki's 2008 BOLA victory in that title match write-up, since it's the very reason he's in the match.

Well I did make that comment right before the tag matches were announced. And at that the point the show could've used a bit more diversity. But yeah, it looks pretty close to perfect now.

Not to sound ungrateful or anything, but the show (as amazing as it is) could've used a couple of debuts being that it's All-Star Weekend and all.
