I find it to be a pretty underrated show. Dragon vs Steen is a really good match that gets forgotten due to their MOTY at Astonishing X-Mas. You have major storyline advancements with the fake Super Dragon, Joey Ryan's return and the debut of Dark and Lovely. While the only really good matches were Steen vs Dragon and Dark & Lovely vs Los Luchas, there really isn't a bad match on the show. For an early show, it holds up really well by today's standards.

These never arrived by the way. That's twice my stuff hasn't arrived. Grrrrrrr.

I recently came up on some new PWG dvd's and I had a few questions about 2 particular shows:

"99"
"The Secret of Guerrilla Island"

These are orginals purchased from highspots.com, however I am having problems with the 'optional commentary'
on both of these dvds. I have about 20 other PWG dvds and I do not have this problem with those dvds.
Is it just these (2) shows that dont have optional commentary or is just these particular copies that I have?
Thanks

They both have commentary tracks. I believe by 2009, PWG began using the commentary as the first audio track. When you go to the Audio Options on your remote, is there two tracks to choose from?

Yes, there are 2 tracks to choose from.. However, both of them have audio commentary. The option to have 'no' commentary is not available. I usually watch the entire event without commentary and then again later with commentary.

To be honest, i'd get both. Both events are 'stacked' from top to bottom. However, if your basing it off of Generico & PAC,
then I'd go with All Star Weekend IV Night 2. I prefer that Generico-PAC match.

I preferred the All Star Weekend 5 match. It came off less spotty to me. As an overall show, I'd also say ASW 5 is stronger.

Just got done watching Steen Wolf and loved every bit of it. Future Shock vs Bucks was great as was the Ladder match. When I head over to the May 25th show I'll be sure to pick up some more.

is Steen wolf the must have of 2011? That is if you only could get one show...

Also, to broaden the one show thing, how about in the history of PWG, if you could only watch one, what would it be?

I'm a new PWG fan.

I would say either Steen Wolf from 2011 or SEVEN from 2010 if you could only get one show. You can't go wrong with either.

Hello;

As you probably can tell by now I am new here, and also new to PWG. I heard of the promotion before but didn't get the chance to watch the product but I am going to start buying the DVD, my question is what is your recommendation I should buy?

I'm new here and a new PWG fan as well. All I can tell you is that I started with Eight and went from there. I wasn't disappointed. My favorite, and it seems to be a lot of people's, was Steen Wolf.

Seven, DDT 2010, 2011, 2012, Steen Wolf, All-Star Weekend 8 Night One, KurtRussell Reunion 3 are my favorites and are each stacked with great matches. I hope that helps.

Hi all!

After being blown away by my first live PWG event, DDT4 2013, I decided I would build my PWG collection. Since I started with DDT4, I wanted to know which DDT4s you felt were the best. Thanks all!

You can't go wrong with odd year DDT4's. The best two in my mind are 2009 and 2011. 2007 is the superior two night DDT4 event compared to 2008.

My favorite DDT4s are 2009 and 2011. Both are probably among my top 5 PWG shows ever.
