Personal Notes: For Wrestler of the Year, I'd consider Elgin for 'wrestling' but he hasn't been on every show and Steen has, occasionally more than once, and showed was he was champion for all.. well, almost all... of 2012.
Show of the Year: I was debating for a couple weeks between BOLA Night 2 and Threemendous III, then I saw Mystery Vortex. Done! (Plus it gets the nod, for me, because I was there, heh)
Tag Team of the Year: Almost went with Young Bucks, they are absolutely amazing at what they do. Put aside their goofy characters and mannerisms, and they are an amazing tag team. But SSB ever-so-slightly edges them this year, they've been amazing.
Newcomer of the year: Sorry, Sami, I'd totally pick you but Elgin just barely edges past you. Now please don't kill me.
Most disappointing match: Almost went with Steen/Generico/Eddie from World's Finest, but Willie/Cage gets it because it was a 'Grudge Match' that wasn't grudge-y at all IMO. Willie got his mad on at Vortex, but they had 'a match' at FTC. Elgin/Eddie and Davey/Sami were way more brutal than the 'grudge match'.
And yeah, I need to get out more regarding non-PWG, but that's partly because I don't know who's already been here in the past.
2012 has been a fantastic year, from the shows I've seen. Especially in the second-half of 2012, they've been just incredible. Can't wait to see 2013!
