Bring Eddie Kingston back for one more match in PWG..

Postby camstun187 » Thu May 09, 2013 2:13 pm

...Before he retires.

He announced he's going to be retiring soon and he's been amazingly good in CHIKARA the past 3-4 years, holding their title for around 18 months (and running).

I think that situation with Hero needs to be forgotten. Maybe there were some things said backstage that i'll never know of, but from a fans viewpoint, I want to see him come back for one last go on the west coast.

Give him a spot in BOLA. Anything. Just bring him back.

I agree, it be nice to have Kingston back for a few shows, maybe for BOLA, as mentioned before, or the 10th anniversary as well

I asked him if he would come back and he said yes. He also said that he still doesn't like Hero.

Indeed, I tweeted something last year about how cool it would be to have Kingston in PWG and he liked the idea then as well. I was thinking of how cool Kingston/Steen would've been when Steen was PWG and ROH World Champ. I think that storyline has been played out well enough in CHIKARA to let it go, but Kingston back in PWG would be nice.

I wonder if there is a reason Kingston hasn't been brought back ? Personally i'm not a fan of his but I respect him as a wrestler .

for those not in the know, Kingston and Hero got into a legit fight after the main event of All Star Weekend 7 Night 1.

Kingston apparently got knocked so hard he temporarily lost his hearing, and when Hero was on the mic and looking at him he thought Hero was trying to bury him, so a fight ensued.

Hold on, when did Eddie Kingston announce he was retiring? I must have completely missed out on that announcement. I know Homicide is retiring at the end of the year, ironically, Eddie Kingston was in the video where he made the announcement, but yeah I'd like to see Homicide in PWG (If He already hasn't) before the end of the year!

If what they're saying about CHIKARA is true, then Kingston's going to need some work. So, why not?

True though Kingston, as mentioned, might just be done due to injuries though I would like for other Chikara guys to be in PWG but its probably Quack might be handling their bookings that could make things restrictive for Chikara guys getting a shot in PWG

SO i was live at the CHIKARA show last night and asked Icarus if it was true about Kingston saying he was retiring, and Icarus said that wasn't true. SOOOOO, there is that.

On another note, the show was great and ended with the idea that CHIKARA may be gone.
