Don't think they have, in a singles match at least. I'm pretty sure they were on opposing sides of a multi man tag, and that's where Davey caught Dragon's eye as a potential partner.

They wrestled each other in one small indy before. I can't remember which company it was, but it was on Youtube awhile back.

Thought I was taking advantage of the PWG 5 for $40 holiday offer but didn't follow the instructions properly, so bought 5 for the normal price! Entirely my own fault, ordered them sneakily at work. A cautionary tale folks.

I personally love the DDT4 tournaments. 2009, 2010 and especially 2011 where an absolute blast!

It's personal taste...if you want the bigger names on the indy circuit wrestling each other, go for the tournament type shows (DDT4 and BOLA). If you don't mind mediocre production Astonishing X-Mas is great for the sheer violence of Super Dragon vs. Steen. Otherwise, if you like higher production value, stick with the last 2-3 years. I chose Perils of Rock'n'Roll Decadence (great tag matches in this one), KurtRussell Reunion 2 (because I missed it this year), Cyanide (Tozawa vs. Steen), Seven (just wanted to own it-hot crowd) and DDT4 (2010)...it's all personal taste. Regardless of the deal, pick up Steen Wolf (great matches from top to bottom and the crowd was hot all night).

BOLA 2010 was the one that got me into watching PWG in the first place, so you'll probably enjoy that.

Speaking of tournaments, I'd avoid the 3-night BOLAs. I watched 2007 and it was a chore...just too hard to remember what was going on in the tournament.

Hey, would anybody mind posting or messaging me the link for 5 for 40? I've tried a few times to get on the mailing list but haven't gotten any emails back.

I sent one again today, so hopefully it works.

The first 8 shows not being available anymore is driving me crazy! They are the only shows I'm missing to have the complete PWG collection.

It's worth a watch. It's the first singles match between Dragon and Steen and the match that started the Super Dragon 2/New SBS angle.

Nothing spectacular but a solid show.
