Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Live Event Fan Conduct Guidelines

Postby PWG_Silverback » Wed Nov 11, 2009 3:18 pm

After reviewing the footage from Against The Grain, we were disappointed to discover that we need to spell out a few guidelines for attending Pro Wrestling Guerrilla events. These guidelines will remain here on the Forum for easy reference, and we will be addressing this issue prior to the start of each event.

Please keep in mind that there appears to be a very small percentage of fans who need to be reminded of how to conduct themselves. This is not an attempt to deter anyone from enjoying the show, rather an attempt to make the shows more enjoyable for everyone. We love the live atmosphere at the shows, and would like to do everything we can to preserve it, so we hope that by presenting these guidelines we can keep the incidents of bad behavior isolated.

- Any physical interference with, or attempt to endanger the safety of, a wrestler or staff member of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla will result in forfeiture of ticket and immediate removal from the event. This includes direct physical contact as well as throwing of projectiles.

- Any attempt to enter or interfere with the ring area will result in forfeiture of ticket and immediate removal from the event. Banging on the ring apron is acceptable, provided it does no interfere with the wrestlers in the ring.

- Use of video recording devices is not permitted. This includes all digital cameras, phones, PDAs, music players, etc. Still photography is acceptable, but anyone recording any portion of the event will forfeit their ticket and be immediately removed from the event.

- Any attempt to sit outside of the area designated on the ticket you purchased will result in forfeiture of ticket and immediate removal from the event. If you don't have a front row ticket, you shouldn't be sitting in the front row.

- Any behavior that is found to be consistently detrimental to the experience of fellows fans will result in one warning to cease the behavior. Failure to comply with this warning will result in forfeiture of ticket and immediate removal from the event.

As we mentioned before, the vast majority of our audience do not need to be reminded of these guidelines. We are not trying to be spoilsports, we would just like the safest and best possible experience for everyone.
